Redwood House offers first class accommodation and personal care in a luxurious setting, combining a whole host of equipment and modern facilities designed specifically to meet the needs of elderly adults.

Located in the heart of Barnt Green, with extensive views over the Lickey Hills, Redwood House is an exclusive development for residents who wish to spend their retirement in comfort and style. Set in 2 acres of grounds, the home is ideally placed to enjoy the benefits of the scenery and tranquillity of rural Worcestershire, whilst being easily accessible from Birmingham and Bromsgrove, and junction 4 of the M5 and junction 2 of the M42 both being only minutes away.

Accommodation for all 28 Service users is in twenty-five single rooms and three twins. Every room is equipped with a 24-hour emergency call system and the home is fully equipped with appropriate facilities for the disabled. All the bedrooms, communal spaces and assisted bathrooms meet the minimum requirements for existing homes. All door widths are suitable for wheelchair users.

We have a wide selection of single and companion en-suite rooms, all of which have been decorated to provide the highest standards in comfort and care. Our bedrooms offer T.V, Satellite, internet and a telephone socket can be installed for a private telephone if required. At Redwood House, we encourage our residents to bring any special personal items such as paintings or ornaments, to help you feel more at home. All rooms are fitted with a nurse call system for your safety. Redwood House provides an open visiting policy for friends and relatives and, subject to availability, we are even able to provide accommodation for visitors traveling long distances.

Meal times at Redwood House are a real pleasure, where our resident chef creates an interesting an varied choice of dishes designed to appeal to all tastes, using fresh local produce where possible. Meals can be taken together with other residents or, if you prefer, in the privacy of your own room. Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served in the main sitting room and drinks and snacks are available at anytime of day or night.

Redwood House has its own laundry department taking care of bedding, towels and personal clothing. Dry cleaning can also be arranged at an additional cost. Newspapers and magazines can be individually ordered and will be charged monthly to your account. Toiletries, personal items and stationary can also be purchased within the home.
Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and details are printed in a newsletter each month. Our activities coordinator organises activities including Scrabble, Exercise Classes, Quiz and Skittles, Sherry and Chat, Birthday Buffets, Lunch Parties, Outside Walks and Summer Outings.  Redwood House provides a safe and stable environment to encourage its residents to be as independent and active as possible. 2 full shaft lifts have been fitted and throughout the home there is a professionally maintained fire alarm and nurse call system. We are regularly inspected by The Care Quality Commission.
